Charge ALX’s cutting hook gives the serrated knife blade an extra edge. Large and small bit drivers with nine double-end S2 tool steel bits make this Leatherman’s most versatile tool yet.
• The 154 CM steel knife blade holds an edge about three times as effectively as a 420 series stainless knife. And, Leatherman use a glazing process for a highly polished blade that is extremely smooth and resistant to corrosion.
• Leathermans new jaw design includes wire cutters with 58% more cutting area than before. Leatherman’s wire cutters can repeatedly cut 12-penny nails and still cut the finest monofilament you can find.
• The first multi-tool with a cutting hook Charge ALX is ready for any emergency, job or adventure. Our cutting hook slices through seat belts and linoleum just as easily as leather or hide.
• Includes eight double ended bits. Each bit is engineered and manufactured to Leatherman’s exacting standards. Made from S2 Tool Steel, they are 35% stronger than stainless. A zinc coating makes them even more corrosion resistant. All are ground to perfection, and have a Rockwell hardness of 59 on a C scale.
